Dangerfield comes up big in Oak Tree Juvenile
W. C. Racing and Zayat Stables' 2-year-old colt Dangerfield earned plenty of respect with a dominating 4 1/4-length win in Saturday's $55,000 Oak Tree Juvenile S. at Pleasanton.

Dangerfield had made three starts in maiden sprints, but found Saturday's 1 mile and 70 yard contest more to his liking. After stalking Aqua Frio through the first six furlongs, Dangerfield took over the lead and drew off impressively in the stretch to win going away.

Dangerfield, a son of leading sire Into Mischief, upped his record to 1-1-0 in four starts.

The winner was bred in Kentucky by Joe Murphy and sold to his owners for $450,000 at the 2015 Keeneland September Yearling Sale.
