Homebred Glennrichment zips to eye-catching MdSpWt win
Zayat Stables' 2017 Triple Crown-nominated colt Glennrichment earned his diploma March 5 at Aqueduct with a front-running, 4 1/4-length tally in a one mile maiden special weight affair for 3-year-olds.

A son of Zayat's champion sire and Kentucky Derby (G1) runner-up Pioneerof the Nile, Glennrichment took the fight to his foes right out of the gate, going the first half-mile in :48.14 while going up four lengths. Under a hand ride the entire trip, none of his competition could cut into the margin as he wrapped up the distance in 1:39.99 (VIDEO).

Glennrichment, trained by Rudy Rodriguez, picked up $36,000 for the win. The Kentucky-bred is the fourth foal out of Zayat's mare Thirtysixth, who has produced the winners Hidden Hand and Leanne n Susan. Glennrichment's second dam Steal a Heart was a four-time stakes winner of over a half-million dollars.
