Jazzy Times back to winning ways
Zayat Stables' Jazzy Times withstood some stout early pace pressure to emerge victorious in a six-furlong Oaklawn Park allowance on Feb. 23 (VIDEO).

Making his second start at the meet for new trainer Brad Cox, Jazzy Times sped through a half-mile in :45.08 seconds with Double Ours in hot pursuit. When Double Ours began to falter in the final furlong, Operation Stevie made bold move from far back, but Jazzy Times was able to hold off the closer by three parts of a length while getting the distance in a very solid 1:10.37.

Jazzy Times, 4, placed in both the Santa Anita Sprint Championship (G1) and Damascus S. as a 3-year-old. The son of Discreetly Mine, who could have a stakes start in the near future, is now 3-2-3 in 10 starts and has banked $201,445.
