Jess I Am tops tough Keeneland allowance field
Jess I Am got his second win of 2018 on April 15 over a sloppy Keeneland racetrack, winning the 1 1/8-mile allowance contest over a very solid group of older males.

Facing several stakes-proven foes, Jess I Am vied with Italian Charm for the first half-mile before taking over the lead. Up as much as three lengths on the turn, the 5-year-old withstood the late charge of Giant Payday to win by a half-length under Shaun Bridgmohan.

Since coming into the Brad Cox barn late last year, Jess I Am has won three of six starts and been worse than third only once. A homebred by Eskendereya out of Souma, Jess I Am's lifetime earnings now stand at $230,085.
