King Kranz wins 2018 debut in thrilling fashion
King Kranz, who had been away from the races for some 10 months, returned a winner with a valiant nose victory over Very Very Stella in a six-furlong allowance March 16 at Aqueduct.

Making his first start in the care of Rudy Rodriguez, King Kranz broke sharply from the inside post to take the lead, with Still Krz pressing him through the first half-mile in :48.06. King Kranz pulled away at the top of the stretch, then dug in late to hold off Very Very Stella in 1:12.56 [WATCH RACE].

King Kranz was a stakes winner at both two and three, and the now 5-year-old is 3-3-4 in 16 starts with earnings of $356,490.
