King Kranz wins second straight Aqueduct allowance
Zayat Stables' King Kranz remained undefeated in 2018 with another hard-fought allowance win by a neck over Angry Moon on April 19 at Aqueduct Racetrack.

The dark bay son of Munnings kicked off his 2018 campaign on March 16 over the same surface, winning by a neck in his 5-year-old debut.

Unlike last month, when he was in front the entire six furlongs, Thursday's win cam from slightly off the pace. He stalked in third nearly the entire trip, and it wasn't until the final strides when he got past Angry Moon to secure the win in a swift 1:09.63 for the six furlongs.

The win upped King Kranz's earnings to $407,490 and his lifetime record to 4-3-4 in 17 starts.
